1 July 2026Market updateNew EU steel safeguard measures: what changes for seamless stainless steel tubes from India and Ukraine
On 1 July 2026, Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/1457 entered into force, replacing safeguard Regulation (EU) 2019/159. For product category 22 – seamless stainless steel tubes – quotas drop sharply and the out-of-quota duty rises to 50%.
